On the second trip to Veronese I plucked up the courage to get out the sketch book for a quick draw in font of these magnificent works of art.

Andromeda – from ‘Perseus and Andromeda’ (1575-80) Veronese. This one was made from a post card back at home. More time was spent on this that the quick galley sketches.
